June 2021 Recap

RNE organised the regular annual Technical Meeting conference for IMs/ABs from the 14th to the 18th of this month to harmonise the international timetables.

In the PCS life cycle, the Path elaboration phase began on 13 April and will run until 5 July, the deadline for Draft Offer. In those Path requests where PaPs were requested, the Path elaboration phase started two weeks later from 26 April. During this period, IMs/ABs checked the offers received from the applicants and ensured the availability of the constructed/designed train paths.

Our goal is to continue to provide the best possible technical service and customer support and the constantly evolving PCS, helping users to conduct their daily business comfortably with the following new features:

  • The development of the RFC KPI reports started
  • Redesign of the composite relation

And many more new elements published in our CMS in PCS under PCS history book, making the information available to everyone. Each chapter is a news release note. Click each chapter’s link to read more in detail: https://cms.rne.eu/node/30476/pcs-history

For public access, the chapters are located on the rights side in the Related Documents section in the Reference area.

We do not leave ECMT development lagging behind PCS. Our ECMT users can check out some interesting new changes and visit the ECMT site sprint reviews for detailed information:

  • Route selection – create the route finder service
  • Path conflict detection from TCRs
  • Changing the logo
  • TCR object route mode
  • Change search page to make route selection possible

In terms of ongoing user support, the PCS team has assisted 50 times in various issues in June, mainly with user access requests, password resets, IM parameters, and interface problems.
